Huawei and the 6p

Anyone heard if Huawei is going to do the right thing and replace the 6p for the ones bought directly from the them. At least Google is trying to make it right.
 
Haven't heard anything and don't expect Huawei to change how they deal with warranty service. I usually buy phones from Amazon due to their great customer service. They said I'd get a like new replacement or refund if my 6P has boot loop or battery issues.

According to Amazon, my warranty is over, even though hauwei says I have almost 3 weeks.
Huawei says they're just going to send me a refurb, with no guarantee, pretty poor CS.
Google denies it's even their device, because hauwei built it. I suspect the same will be true of the pixel, in time.
As irritating as the update mess is, I'll not be buying another device of "Google branding", one expensive mistake is enough for me...
