This. The Notification LED that's there is almost non existent so Always On Display should be a must. The Mate 9 Pro has it already so should be easy enough to implement for Huawei

The pixel xl on Oreo should get aod. So if it's a stock Google thing then it shouldn't be difficult for Huawei to implement.

It doesn't sound like aod is hard to do but who knows. I love aod and hope every phone gets it

The tricky thing is how to do it without draining batteries, and not infringing on any proprietary methods.

To me the LG V20 looks better than the Mate 10.
Sorry to say I don't have a lot of trust for the Huawei effort going forward.

I'm tired of disappointments after buying Huawei/Honor products.

I'm curious, what are your disappointments?

I own the Huawei Nexus 6P. I like quality of the product and it's clean design. I wish the Mate 10 would come without the bloat or go in a similar direction as OnePlus. The themes and their market place is difficult for them to compete with Google and Apple. They're too established and should allow consumers to download Huawei's extras if they choose to.
