my power button has been broken for a while now and i use the volume up button and usb charge to turn on my phone. i accidentally press volume down this time and this screen popped up.

FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE

Android reboot reason:
AP_S_COLDBOOT
NA
volumnkey_down_press_process_func

PHONE Locked
FRP Lock

can i just run my battery out and restart? though i think that would take a lot of time
please let me know what i should do

Try a combination of both pressing and holding volume up and down buttons, simultaneously and one at a time.
Also try unplugging, then hold volume up while plugging in the charger.

Welcome to Android Central! FRP means Factory Reset Protection, which typically happens if a person tries to reset a phone using the hardware keys but doesn't know the password/PIN associated with the phone. Has this phone always been yours?

You can usually force a shutdown by pressing and holding Power for about 30 seconds. Then try powering up normally again.

yes this has always been my phone, my first thought was to shutdown however my power button is broken, im just letting the battery run out right now

Hmm, a broken Power button can be a real hindrance. I'm not sure how you'll power back on once the battery runs out. I would bring the phone to a repair shop to get that button repaired.

ive been living w a broken power button for about half a month now, i have found a way to reboot without the need of a power button. Anyway, the battery ran out and I was able to turn it on that way. Thank you very much for your assistance. I'll get the button repaired soon!
