Huawei Mate 9: 2 sets of on screen navigation buttons

Hi Guys,

I appear to have 2 sets of buttons at the bottom on my huawei mate 9. These are all on screen buttons. There are 2 sets of back buttons, 2 middle buttons and 2 apps that are running buttons.

I have android 7.0 (Not sure if this is helpful).

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Do you have Smart Assistance : Floating Dock in Settings?

Always been this way?

In a few cases odd behavior from day one needed a soft reset.

no i dont have smart assistance nor a floating dock in the settings.

It hasn't been this way, for the first week i had it it was fine. It was once i loaded my apps that i used to have on a previous phone that it started happening. The problem is i cant pin point it to a particular app.

Any other things i can check?
