Huawei Mate 9 Exchange Sync Issues

I just bought a Mate 9 and overall, I love this phone.

There is one issue that is making me crazy though and I can't figure out a solution for it.

I use Office365 for my email, calendar and contacts. The email syncs fine using MailWise (didn't like the stock email app) but the contacts and calendar are having sync issues.

I use Digi-Cal and when I enter a new appointment on my phone, it shows up in outlook on my PC in a weird color (not my stock calendar color).

The contacts all downloaded fine from Office365 but I can't edit any of them or create a new contact that saves to Office365.

Has anyone else had these sync issues and how did you resolve them?

I use Nine for my Exchange account and it works great, you could try that (there's a trial version I believe... but for me, totally worth the 9 bucks). The appointments on your calendar might be showing up as a separate Calendar (since they're being created by another app), which would explain why they show up in a different color. Check the Calendar app to see if it's creating it in a different calendar and if you can select the 'default' one from your Office account.
