Huawei Nexus phone reportedly coming this fall.

Pro tip to Google: Put it IN Best Buy brick & mortar stores. Put both of them in there. Also, Moto said they're fixing their cameras. Are you fixing yours?

I won't be getting either one. I'm very happy with the size of my Nexus 6, and have invested into 18 cases for it. I'll wait until the Nexus 2016.

It really depends on the final spec sheet.. but considering I've been upgrading to a new Nexus annually from the 4 to 5 to 6 I'll probably get the next one in line as well.... I like the size of the Nexus 6 so if at least one is 5.7 ish in size I'll upgrade.... if they only offer a 5.2 size I don't know.. I bought my daughter a Moto X pure edition and the 5.2 isn't bad but........................... I like the bigger phone....

Kind of hoping Motorola puts out a refreshed 2015 device similar to the Nexus 6 with overall upgraded hardware...... There are just things I like about the Moto X.. The small software "Enhancements" they've added over stock android that are nice touches I wish my Nexus 6 had but are not deal breakers....

There's a YouTube video on how to pronounce it so you don't sound like a tool.

I know how to say it now but when I first saw it I would say it in my head like "Hawaii" but HOO awaii. Glad I never had to say it out loud!

I am very curious to see how good the new / next Nexus will be.

I have nothing against Huawei or for LG. I just prefer the smaller LG model, rather than the bigger Huawei model.

I didn't like the size of the Nexus 6.

As far as a Huawei Nexus is concerned, seeing as it's supposedly a 5.7" device, they'll probably end up using Samsung's Note 4 screens. That's fine to me. The only thing that might possibly sway me away from the 6 is a bigger battery. Even though I love the front speakers, the speaker on Huawei phones is usually quite loud. Since they're also known for putting big batteries in their phablets, unless Google decides to go cheap, I'm expecting at least a 4,000 mAh battery in the Huawei Nexus.

It's only fair, considering the 4,100 mAh battery they put in their Ascend Mate 2. It was known as "the phone that wouldn't die", but of course that's thanks in part to Huawei favoring FHD over QHD. So unless Huawei phones are good with battery management, Google will want them to use QHD screens, which will affect whatever size battery they put in.

I don't know. Love the screen size on Nexus 6. It would be such a disappointment if screen size goes smaller. 5.7 is still ok I guess, but anything smaller and I just can't think I can go with that.

Well, reports claim a 3,500 mAh battery in the Huawei Nexus. I don't know if that's a big enough increase in battery to sway me towards it. If an FHD screen were being used, definitely, but I don't know how this will go.

I'll be getting either one of the new Nexii or the Moto X 2015. I went from Nexus 5 to Nexus 6, and while the Nexus 6 is an incredible phone in all respects, I just CANNOT get used to the size. It's great for media, but I miss the smaller form factor. I'll wait to see the specs before deciding, but it'll be a smaller phone than this no matter what.
