Huawei P10 lite. How do you stop a selfie from being mirrored?

I need an i.d. photo and have taken some good ones, but the images are all flipped. When I sort it out on my computer, the photos look weird.
Is there a way of making the phone take 'true' selfies, or will they always be mirrored.

I am not very good with software etc, so any technical advice needs to be very easy to follow..... if there is a fix.
