Huawei P10 play store not downloading or updating apps

Hello sirs,

This morning, i got a play store notification that there was 21 updates to install. Device was previously all updated over the weekend.

I have a P10 (unlocked, sim free) and am on EE (in the UK) and have tried over both 4G and different wifi.

I have followed all the help steps at https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7512202 but still i cant download apps or updates.

Any suggestions before i wipe my phone (or more likely, buy a new device and sell the P10)?

Sorry i should have added, that ive tried updates both all at once and then just one, but they all say "downloading...." and no further.

I've fixed it! Issue was "lock screen cleanup" whereby certain apps were to close when screen locked.

I turn phone off then straight back on and i[works, it's frustrating
