* Update, didn't know the situation of Huawei. Now I am interested in another phone that is similar to these with 128 Gb of space. *

Hello, I'm in Canada. I want to switch back to Android but I do not want to pay an arm and a leg for one. 70$ plan is my limit. I was looking at the Huawei because it's cheaper than Samsung for some newer technology, and it seems to have the features I want. Other than that, there's LG but I don't trust that brand. So Anyway,I wanted the P20/P20 pro but its no longer selling at the carriers. I am not interested in buying a phone outright.

I was looking at the Huawei because I like the memory, that the screen covers the whole phone, and the fast charging and stuff. Anyways the providers have been telling me to go with the Huawei P30 Lite as its a lot cheaper/newer and not much different than the flag ship P30/Pro. I usually keep a phone for a bout a year or 2. I don't need the best of the best but I also don't want something really inferior.

I'm sort of worried if its not the high end than it won't be so great. I'm used to high end phones but with the prices of smart phones going up I don't want to pay that much for one anymore lol.

Important to me: Battery and camera, software. I like to customize the way it looks. Also pretty reliable, not buggy and breaking down.

I would really like your opinion. Thank you!!

Wow thanks for the info didn't know it was that bad...

In that case, which phone should I go for instead?

There is the Asus Zenphone 6 that has had good reviews. It has a motorized flip out camera and a screen with no notches at all. It is $499 US but has Snapdragon 855 and a lot of RAM and storage options.

And the OnePlus 7 Pro is also flagship but only $669 US
