Huawei P30 screen broken

[Android Central Question]

I dropped the phone and the screen started turning blue/purple. The colour was expanding and more splashes and dots were appearing. I took it somewhere to fix it, but I heard that when you change the screen, the battery may be affected, is that true? Is that why the original screen comes together with a new battery?

I have not heard of screens and batteries needing to be replaced together.

i saw a video that they only replace the battery together if it's a board related issue. Samsung does the same thing apparently.

Yes, it's normal for them to also change battery.
