Android Central Question
Hi there,
My daughter recently got a huawei P8 lite, and we noticed something strange. When going to settings, storage, it says that only 900 MB of the 16 GB is free. However, when I look at the details, it says 6,5 GB firmware, 4 GB apps and only a couple of 100 MB of other files. This is a difference of some 4 GB. Where did it go ? I understand that Android in itself takes some place, but I suppose this is the 6,5 GB firmware, so this still makes no sense.
When I run Diskusage it gets even better, there it says that the total storage/emulated/0 is 9,4 GB in total. Of those, it says 4,75 GB is System, data. I could understand that these 9,4 GB is what I have freely available, so excluding the Android operating software, but what is this System data then ? I can't see any details on the content of this in Diskusage sadly enough.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks a lot !
