Huawei P8 suddenly stopped working (Short circuit)

Hi everyone,

A couple of days ago my Huawei P8 has suddenly stopped working. It just turned off, without falling or getting wet, or anything of that kind. The battery was almost full.

I took my phone to one of the best labs in the zone, and after 3 days of checking it, they said its a short circuit that they can't find. They say it is weird cause the phone looks like new from the inside and everything is in place.

Did someone had something like this? Is there any way to save the phone? and the memory inside it (Beside the Sim card)?

Welcome to Android Central! Although rare, these kinds of things can unfortunately happen to any phone, and the component involved can differ. It could be the Power button, the battery, or some circuitry on the motherboard. If they're certain that trying a new battery or replacing the Power button won't help, then I'm afraid you're stuck. Recovering data from a dead phone would probably require forensic data recovery specialists, who are not cheap.
