Huawei p9 blank homescreen keeps deleting

Hi. Since installing the last update my huawei p9 keeps deleting the blank homescreen I've always used and it's driving me crazy! I like to keep all my apps on a screen to the right and leave my homescreen blank. It's never automatically deleted before and I'm not sure what's triggering it. Is there a new setting somewhere I'm missing? Thanks for your help in advance.
