I've just bought this phone which has Android 8.0.0 so I am just getting familiar with it and would appreciate advice from experienced users.
When I start to write a new text message the numbers of previously received calls or messages which are in my contacts are displayed as suggestions. This could be useful but there are some I will not send to so I want to delete them from the suggestion list.
I found an article which advised to go into Contacts, select the contact to remove from the suggestion list and in settings select Trace Erase.
This works OK but if a call or text is received again from that contact it will then appear in the suggestion list again.
Is there a way to permanently "Trace Erase" a contact?
