Hudl 1 touch screen not responding

[AC Question]

My daughters Hudl 1 has stopped working, the touch screen is not responding.
I've tried a reset using the pin hole at the back of the Hudl, still same.
Also tried a factory restore the using the power and volume buttons to access the reset menu which clears all data, still same.
Anybody have any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! If the touchscreen doesn't respond after a factory reset, then it's probably a hardware failure of the screen's digitizer. You'd have to take it to a repair shop, since I assume it's no longer under warranty.

fitted new battery as not staying on.ok now using proper HUDL charger ,stiil no pesponse by screen to touch .Fitted new digitiser and still exactly the same. HELP.
