Huge overheating issue with the HTC car dock

Whenever I put my phone into the car dock the phone goes over 120 degrees Fahrenheit! Surely it's not the phone because it only happens when I put it in the car dock.

Is there a fix coming for this?

I have seen this with MANY other HTC owners. I'm lead to believe it is a dock issue and many have moved the dock and phone in front of an AC vent to combat the problem.
