Hello all. I'm new to Android and I switched from the iPhone. I have a Hulu and Netflix account and I'm wondering why the market place doesn't have these apps available for my Sensation... Am I doing something wrong?

No you are doing nothing wrong. Hulu is not available for Android and Netflix is only available for selected phones. The sensation is not one of them right now.

Try to find the Netflix app from another source. It works. I use it on my Sensation and it works fine. I had a backup of it on my SD card and installed it when I switched to the Sensation.

I'm not going to link on it, for 2 reasons (1. I'm too new to AC & 2. Not sure how AC deals with modified apks) but you can find the modified Netflix apk on XDA (just google it).

As for Hulu, there is a harder device check on that, and the Sensation is not currently supported.

Both apps run just fine on my Nexus One, but only the modified Netflix app streams to my Sensation.

You know how to do this right? You said you were new to android so I'll tell you how just in case. Click the link and download the netflix app. Slide it on to your sdcard. Then download Linda File Manager from the market (it's free) click on sd card and you'll find the file, then just click on it and install it. it may ask you to check the 3rd party apps box. If it does just check it then go back and install it.. sign into your netflix and it works great!!!!!! :)

The lastest version I have. Just the other day started giving me the, "There is an update for this app, would you like to update?" and when you do, you can't. Does anyone have a newer one that doesn't do that on the sensation?
