Hey guys!

So I was wondering what do you guys think works better for the E3D? I am also planning on using this for the laptop/XB360 as well. Only going to be streaming.

I like TV/Movies. So I don't know to much about either one, Let me know what you all use and why that service other the other?!

Thanks in advanced...

i prefer netflix itself, seems to have a larger collection of things i'd like to watch but that could vary depending on your taste

Thanks for the reply! I'm looking for tv shows and some movies. Such as walking dead, ncis, and the girlfriend like house ans other things like that.

netflix has a pretty nice variety of movies and tv shows, hulu has only tv (but a lot of it) and next to nothing (at least nothing you'd want to see) in the way of movies. Hulu gets a lot more content updates it seems, mainly because you're getting the latest episodes of tv shows, netflix updates less frequently. The interface on both is ok, both play pretty good on the e3d on either wifi or 3g. My personal choice is Netflix, they have a good selection of tv and most importantly for me, a lot of movies.

also if you have HBO and a participating cable company HBO Go is pretty good, the app design kind of sucks, and playing content over 3g dosnt always work the greatest, however it has almost every episode of every HBO show as well as a ton of docs and movies

I use both Netflix and Hulu Plus on my phone and the answer to which is best is hard to say. Hulu Plus is great for TV shows, because they have a crazy amount of TV shows, but Netflix is way better for movies. I would suggest trying both Hulu Plus and Netflix out for yourself. Netflix has a free month trial and Hulu Plus has I think its a one week free trial. If you have HBO, then I would suggest trying out HBO to Go. Its free for HBO subscribers and they have a lot of good viewing content.

Your welcome :-) . And the Walking Dead is a great show. I'm not a big horror fan, but I like zombie movies and TV shows for some reason. They freak me out.

I have and love both. I also have a bravia 3D TV with web access in both the living room and bedroom so I've actually been able to get rid of my cable service with no regrets. If you have or know someone that does you can get a 30 free trial to Hulu+ with a .edu email address. Plus its only 15.98 a month for both.

Hope the Netflix is working out. I am still running Nextflix and can stream on the home computer,TV and on the Phone as well. Netflix is not as good as Hulu as far as the TV shows go, but I am still streaming movies on the fly.

Thanks again guys!

I hear Netflix will be losing starz soon. So a lot of the newer movies will be going away! By the same token I hear they struck a deal with Dreamworks or something. So more animated movies are to come!

I will try Hulu+ in the coming weeks. I think I am going to stick with Netflix until the content gets boring. If it ever does. I like the movies for on the fly!

Again thanks for all of the advice!

I stream Netflix at the gym over 4G. Works great on the qHD screen. It's probably why my data usage is over 12GB per month. Love you Sprint!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Put me in the BOTH column..
The content varies so much for each that i like to have both.

I've had Netflix for years and use it on my E3Ds, EVOs, IPhones, Ipods, laptops, XB360, Wii, PS3, Blurays and TVs. I must say that I like the movies and streaming those that I haven't heard of before. There are a lot of nice independent films out there that do not get the publicity. As for Hulu(+), I had it for the XB360 and laptop. It was okay, but not as pleasing as Netflix. Yes it does rule on the latest TV episode front though. I wish I could hybrid them together for the perfect app. They stream absolutely great on the XB360. Stay tuned to the XB360 with the added media features to the dash that MS has been hinting to.

Why didn't you like Hulu Plus? Was it all of the commercials and ads that Hulu forces you to watch before viewing the TV shows and movies? That is the only problem that I have with Hulu Plus. I hate the fact that I am paying for Hulu Plus, but that I still have to watch commercials before viewing their content. That is the number one complaint that I have read about with Hulu Plus.

That was one of the biggest reasons. Also I didn't have enough selection of shows and movies I liked for me to pay for it. I figured that I will keep checking back to see how it has improved though. The free promotions makes that easy to do.

I completely understand. Hulu doesn't have as good of a selection as they could have. For the price, its decent, but not great. They offer enough content for my needs for now, but I have already watched so much that there isn't enough left to keep me paying monthly forever. If Hulu doesn't start adding a lot more content over the next 6 months, then I will most likely cancel my subscription. I still like Hulu in all, but why pay for content that I have already seen many times before? But man am I sick of the advertisements though. . . I'm paying Hulu money, so I shouldn't be forced to watch ads and I'm not the only one fed up with that. From the looks of their message boards, a lot of people are ticked off with that.
