Hum on video recording?

I have a bad hum when video recording. Does anyone have any ideas or is it something I have to live with or get a replacement device?

Just wondering--does the Maxx's video camera have a setting to reduce wind noise? If so, try playing around with that setting. Otherwise, I'd probably look into a replacement.
