Hurricane Idalia

Hurricane Idalia made landfall earlier today on the west coast of Florida as a category 3 storm. The hurricane has been downgraded to a category 1 but is still dumping massive amounts of rain, accompanied by strong winds as it moves out of Florida into Georgia and the Carolinas. For all of you in Idalia's path, please stay safe, and check in when you can.

Yes folks please stay safe hopefully minimal to no damage for everyone in the eye of the storm... May the storm pass with no issues..

We had about a 10min pwr outage and 2hrs of brownouts after, but no damage. Seems to have moved on into SC now. I'm 1/2mi from the saltwater inlet @ Thunderbolt and it was largely a non-event here. But Pooler and inland Savannah got hammered. This is one of the few times living on the coast has been advantageous in a big storm!
