Husbsnd's phone contacts imported to my phone from car when my phone bluetooth'd how do i stop this?

Can anyone help me? Everytime I drive my car after my husband drives it, and he's connected his phone to the bluetooth system, when I next go to my phone contacts they're all his interpretation of numbers! So if I call "Dad" I'll end up with my father in law! Very annoying! I need to sync my contacts to the car so I can use it to call ppl when driving. Is there anyway I can stop this happening? TIA x

You probably have to put your phone as primary in the head unit.

Welcome to Android Central! Have him forget the car system from his phone's Settings>Bluetooth menu, and also forget his phone from your car's system. When he connects next time, make sure he declines the option for Contact Sharing, and see if that helps.
