buying an unlocked phone from ebay. Will it work in AUS?

i'm buying an unlocked phone from ebay. Do I need to buy the "international model" for it to work in Australia?? Or will any model work?

I am buying an LG G2 btw.
I think the LG G2's "international model" is the D802?

Welcome to Android Central! You need to find out the exact model number, and do a Google search for which network bands it is compatible with (search for "[model number] network bands"). Then search for the network bands that your carrier uses. If there is no overlap, then the phone won't work.
