I am glad Thunderbolt is not out yet, Look at this one..

You know what pisses me off though, is that this phone has no infinitive release date...but the price is right there in huge bold letters. Comon' Verizon :/

Please don't tell me anyone is actually considering buying this gimmick called the Echo. Kyocera, really? I'm sure it's fun to play with at a press conference, but how long before the novelty wears off and you realize you're stuck with a piece of junk that belongs in SkyMall or the Sharper Image catalog?

Via joystiq: "Games must use Sprint's SDK to take advantage of both of the screens offered by the Echo. But, how many developers will flock to create games for a single device available on a single carrier? We're going to guess: not many."

DOA. Ok maybe not DOA, but I definitely don't see this phone selling well and there won't be many apps taking advantage of the dual screens.

And in regards to the battery, "Removable 1370mAh battery; includes spare battery (1370 mAh) with portable charger that can also tether to the phone as an external power supply." Considering it includes a spare battery and this "portable charger"...to anyone who buys this thing: have fun making this phone last an entire day!

If Nintendo was going to release a DS phone, the least they could do is include the plastic stylus...

is this kyocera first smart phone. cause last time i saw a phone by them it was a flip phone in wal mart pre paid phones

an that hindge is gonna break. and they did something iv never witnessed. made stock build of android crash

Env Droid ;) No competition to the Bolt in my eyes but being able to offer different form-factors is one of the great advantages with Android.

loks sick but i saw a video of it an expo and when they tapped screen it wasnt responding and the scrolling was as bad as the storm1 when it came out. I know this is prob. still a proto type but if you r at an expo have a tweaked good working one with you.
