I am missing a few options in my settings menu

I am a new Samsung Galaxy S4 user ciming from iphone and while I was watching videos on how to customize your lock screen so I can use my camera but I noticed that I don't have the "multiple widgets" options and others like how you unlock the device ripple effect light effect etc can anyone help me

If you want to keep your pass code security and still use the camera you can download Widgetlocker. It will allow you access to the camera through a bezel swipe without having to enter the pass.

Lol sorry I meant to come back and check if you answered sooner to say you lose those options. Glass you figured it out tho. this was something I was kind of upset with because the s3 you could swipe then be prompted to out your pass code in.
