It is popping up all the time now and I didn't do anything to my phone.

I downloaded but did not install GB but I can't stop that dam popup every time I open text or other functions.

Yes I have had this going on for a long time but now it's 10 times a day and it's buggin the crap out of me.

then do a power off and power on (reboot).

Fastboot is not available on Froyo. Fastboot is available on Gingerbread.
