Ok so, while our amazing little Optimus S we have here may have a ton of fantastic roms, but some stuff i hate about it is that it has hardware keys, not capacita or on screen keys. I was wondering if theres a way to maybe take of the cover, link touch screen keys (capacita keys) onto the bottom and have them work... Yeah I already kinda know that the answer is a no, but I'm just wondering. Another thing is that this only has one processor. Would there be a way to attach a dual core or quad core processor to this thing? like maybe link two singles together or something idk, I havent even taken this apart for a first time yet...

No. To all of the above. Smartphones are NOT computers and one does not simply swap out parts willy nilly.

You can flash AOKP and from | Settings → ROM Control → Navigation Bar | you can enable the 3 soft button navigation bar usually used on phones without hardware buttons. You can then try changing the hardware key mapping (check this thread out for an idea) to make the hardware keys do nothing. I'm not 100% if that will work properly with ICS, as I've only done hardware button remapping on Froyo/GB based ROMs. But be aware that you will be limiting how well the phone functions and you will be making our already small screen even smaller (perhaps changing the LCD density can partly compensate for that). You may find that you prefer having hardware keys once you no longer have them. Just follow the instructions given in the linked threads and always make a backup first.

Yep with what your asking youd need some precision machinery to even scratch the surface.
