i-blason hera (full body case with built in screen protector)

is i-blason the first to come out with a full body case for the s8 that has a built in screen protector? I'm new to phones with curved edges and was wondering if there's any negatives to using such a case.

That is the first one i have seen.

I dont know how well the plastic screen cover will work,

I dont care what otterbox says, i believe the reason they left the screen protector off of the s8 cases is because of the problems they had on the s7 edge.

I had two, and the curved screen made a plastic screen protector that is attached to a case a pain to use.

Otterbox had a lot of complaints because using the edge of the screens was difficult w the covers because it didnt mold to the screen well enough to be reliable.. you had to really press hard on the edges.

Maybe the case you mentioned above will be better.. but i would find as many reviews as you could from people who already bought it.

thanks for the feedback. i guess it's safe to assume most case manufacturers aren't offering a built in screen protector due to the difficulty of the curved edge. i placed a preorder for the Hera, but may cancel it and wait until reviews start showing up on amazon or this site.

the i-blason hera case finally arrived. i ordered 3 cases, but only 2 showed up. i asked them to refund the amount of the 3rd one that was never shipped, because in the end i'm going to send them all back for a refund. the front cover doesn't work very well on the top half of the screen. the screen protector doesn't sit flush with the screen, so it takes more pressure than the bottom half of the screen. the edge seems to work well, but it's the flat portion of the screen that doesn't work so well.
