I'm about to unlock a 7T Pro, The network sim is unlocked, I have the 'Unlock Token', I have this page to work off of; https://support.oneplus.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/588

I'm about to start on Step #6,
Fastboot is on the PC (had to install to complete Steps 1 -5)

As I under stand this is from Step 4; Power off your OnePlus 6T. Press and hold“Volume +”and “Volume -”.Then Press power key to enter “fastboot mode”
Connect to your computer; (From Step 6) Command: fastboot flash cust-unlock <unlock_token.bin>

Now here is where I get lost; <unlock_token.bin>

Do I drag the downloaded Token into that spot? or What? At first I assumed it was a number that I would enter but found that the token doesn't open.

I haven't got that far , only converted my 1+7p from T-Mobile to global without unlocked bootloader.

Your unlock token should be placed in the folder you fastboot from. The <unlock_token.bin> will be the name of your unlock token .bin file. You won't need to do anything else with the file. That step will install it from the fastboot folder.

Just for further clarification in my screenshot from the linked page you can see how the .bin file names match. So whatever your .bin name is, that's what you will put after the cust-unlock for the command. Just have the .bin in the folder you fastboot from.

Are you planning to install the international ROM?

That there sounds like the real deal! I'll do that, makes sense, I knew a genius would come through here! Thanks!

I deleted the OP. Here is an image on igmur of the cmd and the successful OEM unlock!

Download fastboot to your PC, unzip it then move it to fastboot folder.

I did have to change root directory down to the fastboot folder which contained my "unlock_code.bin" I was typing this in wrong

So, open cmd, cd root directory, then type in; fastboot flash cust-unlock unlock_code.bin then enter

PS: To get the full root directory, Open File Manger on PC, My fastbook and token were both in Download, after download of token I moved it into fastboot folder. From file manger I keep clicking all the down into the Fastboot folder than moved cursor up to chain and tap than the full root directory highlights and I copy that to use for cmd usage.

Apologies, the tag must not have worked. I didn’t get a notification for this. It sounds like everything is good now. If it’s not and more help is required, please feel free to quote me. I do have notifications on for mentions and quotes.
