Is that normal? With my S7 connected via USB, I can open the DCIM folder and drag and drop my photos onto my Windows PC desktop. But, I can't seem to do the same with successfully dragging them into PS Elements. Is this normal? Anyway to "make it work"?
I CAN open Elements and choose File/Open and navigate to the DCIM folder on the camera but that's also extra steps. Don't understand why I can drag and drop onto the desktop and do a flie/open from Elements but can't drag and drop into Elements

You're trying to drop them on the program? Elements has to be written to accept a dropped file. Evidently it's not.

You're trying to drop them in the Elements folder? Unless you're running a folder-locking program, you should be able to drop any file into any folder you can open.

I'm trying to drop them into the program it's self, and yes, it's apparently made to accept dropped files because I've been doing it for years and years from my cameras. Just dropped a picture from my Canon camera into Elements. I pretty sure I was able to do it from my S5 too.
