i can' pull the rings to unlock my phone please help

I. Have a htc one x phone.i bought it on february 2013 and latetly when i want to ope my phone the ring doesnt responde and i cant oppen the phone .i have done the factory reset but is the same thing .my phone have android 4.1.1 with the sence 4+ .please some body help me thank you

As a temporary work-around to unlock your screen, you can move any one of the lock screen shortcuts into the ring. At least, that should unlock your phone. Then, go into "personalize" options, "lock screen style", and select "no lock screen". I have the same issue as you, and found that on my One X, there is a 1/2 inch horizontal strip of screen, edge to edge, that does not respond to touch. The desensitized area of screen is located right where the lock screen ring is. The problem is evident in any app that may need to use that part of the screen. I have contacted AT&T for a warranty replacement.

I've received my warranty replacement handset, and I now have no problems with the touch response anywhere on the screen.
