I cannot switch the app i used my Note5 to "open with".

I am using a Note5 with a SkanDisk OTG. Recently I opened my OTG pic file and inadvertently hit HomeBudget app during the "which file would you like to use" segment of the process. Now all my pics and videos on my OTG are opening the files with HomeBudget. I how do I reverse this process. I am not seeing a prompt that asks "Which file would you like to use".
