I cant download pics from my samsung galaxy 5?

I was not receiving texts from certain contacts and t mobile couldn't help so rebooted. Now phone isn't working right like I cannot get on internet using mobile connections like I used to and now cannot download pics from a text sent., I removed sim and turned phone off and on. I turned data on and then off worked that angle not working still. What else can I do?

that didn't help. I have turned off and on and now wi fi is on. Here is the problem. Since I rebooted phone not quite right. I can get the text now from that contact, but I cannot receive pic and I am not able to automatically search the internet from a store or while parked in car. I used to with NO problem.
