I can't find contacts that are added on S9.

[Android Central Question]

This just recently started, I used to be able to press a new phone number that I had received a call from and then be able to add to my contact list. Don't seen to have this function now. I have manually added the contact and when trying to add a new contact in Contacts the phone finds the information and asks if I want to update or delete. So if the phone can find this information stored somewhere why can't I see it in my contacts list? Ver very frustrated with this new S9 phone.

You should still have the option. Try to clear the cache partition and reboot.
