I can't get my school email to work on my Droid Razr M

Hey all, I've set up my school email fine on the iPhone 4 and other droids, but I can't seem to get it to work with my Razr M that I've been using. I go to add new account -> other -> manual setup -> imap and I follow these instructions on my school website Set up Your Email Client - UBIT but I can't get past "checking incoming server settings" it just tells me "couldn't open connection to server."

I have my email and password right, for imap server I have in "imap.buffalo.edu" and port 993, security type SSL, authentication method auto.

If your UB Mail is an actual Gmail account, are you able to add that account to your Gmail app, instead of using the stock Email app?

I don't think to, the email is @Buffalo.edu, but is powered by gmail. It doesn't work if I try it like that.

Have you spoken with the school's IT help department?
