I can't hear media on certain apps

[Android Central Question]

I just got an LG G6 a few days ago, On music apps like Pandora and Spotify and you tube I can hear everything fine but on games and chrome and a few other apps I can't hear any media. I tried using head phones and that doesn't change anything.
