I can't install apps from unknown sources

[Android Central Question]

I'm running on a locked down version of Android on a Kyocera S2720. It's a basic 2018 flip phone that is already in developer mode. OEM is unlocked and so is unknown sources. Then I download an app such as Waze from apkshare and while loading the app a message says your device administrator does not allow installing apps from unknown sources. The administrators list is in phone settings>security>others>device administrators. But it says no available device administrators. Can someone help me. There is no Play Store on this phone!!!!

Welcome to Android Central! That phone runs a severely scaled back version of Android, so chances are that what you're trying to accomplish isn't possible. Your best bet is to check the forums at XDA-Developers.com and see if anyone has come up with some creative hacks for the phone.
