about to go to walmart now and get one I'd rather go to bestbuy but it's out of the way
Sound is decent. Definitely comparable to my Echo. Had more Bass than I expected. Definitely not as good as my surround sound though.what do you think of sound? I dont mind it but i'm going to hook it up to my surround sound in my bedroom, the echo is going in my office and I'm buying an audio cast for the living room surround sound. I only have hue lights and so far i like the way it works with them.
Tripping in what way?I think people are tripping just a little bit here......
I don't think there will be a version 2 for several years at least... Just like the Echo, Google will keep updating the software to add support for additional features. But I can see them coming out with additional devices like Amazon has done. When google matures it will be better than echo IMO, I do use echo to listen to music, ask questions, turn on and off lights (change color) ect, Echo does bad at answering questions. It can't go into detail like home can. I give GH the advantage of that but, is this something to get now or wait a year until google releases Version 2 where it will do more. I do like the fact i can just tell GH to play youtune video's or cast music and it will. I am still on the fence but leaning hard towards getting one and selling or moving my echo to another room and use it there
I grabbed one from my local Best Buy. It's OK so far. My lights are LIFX so I can't control them with it and I have a couple of light switches that are Zwave but they integrate with my alarm system which Google also doesn't have access to. Basically the only thing I can control with it is my Nest. We'll see how it goes though
Yeah I guess I'll have to go through and set that up. Not really in a rush because I have an Echo dot next to it that requires nothing but the skill. Lifx is usually on it so I think they'll add support quickly. You should be able to control your LIFX lights using IFTTT with google home.
