I can't load Launcher Pro all of a sudden.

First off, I don't have a custom ROM or anything like that on my phone.

I rebooted my phone a few hours ago because when I clicked on the internet icon on my home screen it took me to the backup assistant. I couldn't figure out how to fix this so I rebooted. After the reboot I was welcomed by the default HTC home screen which I haven't seen in months because I have all my defaults set to Launcher Pro. I can't find Launcher pro in my apps list to open it. I can se in my settings that I have it installed and its not running, but I cant find a way to open it. I'm not sure if I can uninstall it and reinstall it and keep all my options. Also I'm not completely sure that will fix the problem anyways.

Does anyone have any clue what I can do to fix this? I really don't like HTC's home screens.

Press the home key, it will give you a list of Launchers to choose from. Pick Launcher Pro, and set as default.


If that doesn't work and you just stay in the Sense home screens, you have to go to Settings -> Applications -> Sense Launcher (name might be different**) -> Reset Defaults

Now the above pressing Home key technique should work.
