I can't not into safe mode

I can't get safe mode on my s7 edge because the 3 network logo comes up obscuring the samsung logo any ideas because I can't see when to let go of the power button

Welcome to the forums. I couldn't find anything on how to boot into Safe mode for 3 network. The only thing I can think of is to watch a video for an S7, use a stop watch and release the button at the same time.
