I can't send or recieve media on whatsapp.

I upgraded to Android 11 and on Whatsapp I cannot download media nor can I send photos or videos

Welcome to Android Central! What happens when you try to download or send media? Do you get an error message?

Go to Settings>Apps, select WhatsApp, then Permissions, and make sure it still has Files/Storage permission.

Hello, I am having the same issue. The error I receive is that "this media file doesn't exist on your internal storage". Whatsapp has storage permission. It's the same error for any media type: gif, pic on my phone. Any ideas? Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Try clearing the app cache/data for WhatsApp, then Force Stop it. Then open it again and log back in. Does the problem persist?

Nevermind. I deleted WhatsApp and reinstalled and it works. Thanks for the help.
