I can't transfer music to my new memory card

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and upgraded the memory card use. I first transferred my music, photos and movies from my old memory card to my computer in order to transfer them over to the new memory card. The photos and movies transferred fine. When I tried to transfer the music, the transfer runs per usual, it took a couple of hours, but once it finished the music simply dissappeared from the memory card, as if I never transferred. This evident on my computer before I put the card into my phone. It's as if the music files transferred but didn't "stick". Any ideas?

Install and run an SD scan app like "media.Re.Scan" from the Play store. When I upgraded memory cards, my S4 only saw a fraction of the music and photos on the card until I ran media.Re.Scan.
