I can't update my samsung s8+

I can't seem to update my samsung s8+. It's on Android version 7.0 and when I try to update it, it shows my device is updated to the latest version

Welcome to Android Central! What's the exact model number? Was it originally from a carrier? Carrier-specific phones typically have to be on that carrier's network to get the official system update over-the-air.
