I can't use my phone if is conected to car Bluetooth

[Android Central Question]

When my phone is connected to my car Bluetooth I cant use it after I place it in the phone holder. The dispaly is showing only the clock and steps and is not allowing map to be shown or to use google assistant. Do anyone know what is the issue?

Welcome to Android Central! When it's in the holder, you can't unlock the screen? Does it respond to touch at all?

Is the car mount a magnetic type? If so, perhaps the magnet is forcing the phone to stay on the lockscreen.

Do you you have it set to show clock while charging ,,?

Yes is a magnetic phone holder I will try just to place it in front of me to see if is working or is just the same. And yes the screen is lock and is not responding to any touch.

Possible that magnetic is causing the issue

I suspect that the magnet is activating the phone's Smart View feature, but am trying to find out if Huawei's own Smart View flip cover uses magnets to activate. It's hard to find that information.

Have you done the basics? Forget the car from the phone and the phone from the car and reboot to clear the cache partition first, then repair the device.
