Eh, I do wish carriers wouldn't broadcast their logo on the rear of devices but I can live with it. Sitting on the couch messing with the camera and I have to say in low light it catches more detail than my N7.

I have to admit I don't have a quality set of headphones, but honestly... The quad DAC isn't impressing me as much as I had hoped... Don't get me wrong, the audio is great. But not as great as I got my hopes up to be...

I need to find an AUX cord and compare the two on my sound bar and the sound systems in my vehicles (all of which have very nice aftermarket systems I built)

I had read a few posts on here that people said they noticed a difference even with a generic set of headphones/earbuds, so I assumed there would be some sort of noticeable difference in quality. I'm an audiophile to a certain extent but one thing I've never cared enough or justified the price of is headphones. I spend way more time in my vehicles and I'd rather put that cash towards a quality set of separates in one of them before I buy headphones I'll lose or my dog will chew up

It improves cheaper headphones in some cases but if the headphones have a limited frequency range they are not going to reproduce sounds they are not capable of.

Try this with a sunset pic and tell us how you feel. Or a campfire. I'm growing to like mine. Have to decide by Friday to keep or return. The camera is really all that holds me back.

I got mine last Friday.... Took the whole day setting it up.
As for the logo, I put a case on mine, so what! As for the camera not being equal to my stand alone. Well that's why I have a good camera.
Otherwise, I love it so far.

I realized one thing I should have been clearer on, if it makes any difference- the quad DAC itself definitely makes a difference when activated. But with cheap headphones, it doesn't allow it to really shine. No clue what frequency these things are capable of handling, but it's the same principle as car audio. If it can't replicate the frequency, then you're not hearing it's true potential.

As for the camera, obviously we aren't going to be getting high end DSLR photos and as I read in one review, most people just post to Facebook/IG etc but for my own pleasure, I appreciate having quality hardware on the device I use most in my life

Nope, already have a few of those. But I would like for it to perform as well as the one I had to give back against my will. (Though I haven't yet because they've not sent the box.) Side by side sooc simply shows the truth about the moments in question (sunsets and campfires, extreme low light). But I'm done talking about the dead and I'll just smile and nod when I hear everyone going on and on about quality and how great it is and unmatched by anything else out there. It's fantastic!
