Was trying to find out why I can't send text messages and then tried to find my application manager and it is nonexistent. Help?

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Android Apps forum to the Galaxy S7 forum since the former is intended for developers to promote their apps.

The "application manager" is the Apps menu in the system settings. Swipe down the notification panel, tap the gear icon, and then look in the system settings for the Apps section.

What's the problem with sending text messages? Are you talking about SMS, or some other messaging platform? Are you getting an error message? Do calls work normally?

I already said my application manager is not where you and everybody else keeps telling me to go. I know where my settings menu is, I know where my apps menu is, there is no application manager in that list. I was trying to send SMS messages I think but I'm not that techie to know the difference between SMS and MMS or whatever. Just normal texting. However the next morning it worked don't ask me why. But where the hell my application manager is still drives me nuts.

Welcome to the forums. The app manager isn't a stand alone app, so you won't find that in any app list. It's part of the phone's settings menu. So when you said this:
I know where my apps menu is, there is no application manager in that list.

We need some clarification. When you go into the list of apps, what happens when you tap on an app? If it brings up a screen with force stop, uninstall, enable/disable options and other settings, this is the application manager. If you tap on an app in the list and it opens the app for use, that is the app drawer (accessed from the home screen, not the settings menu).

I already said my application manager is not where you and everybody else keeps telling me to go.

And what I said was that the "application manager" is the Apps menu in the system settings. This is the case on virtually all Android devices; it's just that some manufacturers like to call it something different, like "app manager."

What are you trying to accomplish with the application manager in regards to sending messages?
