so i have the fascinate running DI01, stupid fast kearnel, avalon theme, and forgot to backup my stock rom, i downloaded mesmerize contacts and all it does is force close, i tried downloading and flashing back to stock contacts and its not working, i need to go back to stock out of box and start over but dont know how, can anyone help. i downloaded a DI01package3-1.tar.md5 for odin but its not workin. plz help

step one, calm down. it aint that bad.

now. did you format data and clear cache?

well start by flashing red cwm. then i would maybe flash the modem, kernel, and rom seperately with odin. reboot into cwm, clear cache and data. see what that does.

dj05 fixes alot of things broken in di01. it will perform much better. personally i would stay from dl09, its the devil.

ok i wanted djo5 are there step by step instructions to get dj05 flashed using odin im very new i managed to flash cwm recovery to my phone using it, but have no idea beyond that im not very good at following written instructions could i get you to call me and walk me through it possibly? everytime i open my contacts i get fc "the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly" other than that my phone functions fine. any ideas. i dont want dl09

You can take your DL09 and shove it up your iPhone.

OK the reason you are having trouble now is because you flashed CWM for DJ05/DL09 so you now have conflicting kernel and rom

the same way you flashed the CWM file, is the same way you must flash the DJ05 full package file. this will fix all those problems

I have tried the all in one, flashing modem and kearnel seperately, tried going back stock out of box from a thread on xda, nothing is working, the only problem im having is everytime I click on my contacts app screen goes black and error fc comes up saying android process stoppes working unexpectedly, this sucks, other than that my phine is working good any ideas? Thnx guys yall rock

I had a force close issue today, and i had to factory reset from inside CWM to get it to stop, try that, and let us know how it works out. From there I'm not sure how to progress, but it seems like that's the beginning of a fix once we can figure out what's wrong with it. I think part of the problem was in the CWM, so i'm trying to reflash that, and stock DL09 load out right now. Will keep you posted.

I tried fac res in cwm, fix permissions, everything lmao, gonna have to either flash stock di01 ordj05 I think, I believe mesmerize is incompatible with fascinate?

have you tried a third party contacts app?
