They are not local. They are a good 30 miles away. We live in the middle of nowhere. Our local VZW Store is 35 miles away and 6 miles from our house is the closest 4g LTE service area. I doubt we will ever have 4g here at our house but we are also looking into the Network Extender. That should help

I thought and even fought a few on here that I would never...EVER...see 4G LTE in my area (Lake County, Florida, Leesburg area) but to my surprise, I have 4G LTE. It just came online about 2 months ago. I'm with Sprint.

I'm in the big bend area of Florida near the gulf, we only get Verizon out here. No lite yet but a little in town 20 miles away.

That's strange. Your friends with the same phone in the same area are having reception issues, but your not.

That's what I'm wondering. While I don't have any in my general area, when I go to some spots where I had good reception with my Rezound, I'll find my Note 3 bouncing between LTE and 3G often.

We are 30 miles away from each other. I live in a totally different town. Yes we have full 4g in town 6 miles away and yes we only have 3g here with a network extender but do you know what? It works and I'm happy! Best decision I've made in a long time. Money well spent! :-D

Alright after having this beast for 24 hrs i think i will admit defeat.. I LOVE his phone but... The poor reception and the unstable WIFI connections are driving me crazy (even with the network extender) . My iPhone 5 had zero connection problems . I just wanted the bigger screen on the note 3. Looks like i might be switching back.

Go ahead with the i warned you comments.. At least i tried!
