I dont think I will need my laptop anymore 80% of the time

After using the Evo all day yesterday, with its huge screen, I feel like I dont need to use my laptop anymore to surf and answer emails comfortably.


I also cant imagine ever going back to a screen smaller than 4.3", it sounds big but its just PERFECT in so many ways.

Anybody feel like they can ditch the laptop now for leisure/entertainment purposes?

No more lounging on the couch with my lap or tummy getting cooked slowly due to the excessive heat coming off the laptop! FREEDOM!

Well yeh i can difinately go without a laptop longer,but certaintly cant do without one

ANd yeh i cant go back to nothing less than 4.3"

I kinda even like the Dell Mini with 5.0" screen

Its amazing how the first phones back in 80's/90's were big and clunky, then we wanted phones real small, and now we back to wanting phones with a nice big screen, and small sizes just wont do!!!

Once I get this extended battery my EVO will already be complete

Yeah I definitely need it for work and school, but for all other uses I think the Evo will slowly take it all over.

I've already ordered the Freedom Pro Bluetooth keyboard... I've heard via someone who's tried it with the Keypro driver that it works, "flawlessly". With that, I hope to pretty much delegate my laptop to only 10% of my usage.

It's much easier to write and surf on a laptop, BUT I found over the weekend that when I woke up Sunday afternoon I was able to clear my email and read the news stories of interest on the EVO while lying in bed and not needing to bust open the laptop, and I'm talking about a MacBook Pro that awakes from sleep in three seconds. (My Dell Vista lappy takes a few minutes to fire up; maybe it'll be done before I get back from the bathroom.)
