I feel a little slighted by LG...

So LG is offering a free cradle and spare battery to people who purchase the G3 now? Not good for retroactive purchases, but now? I could understand if it were something that individual carriers or stores (Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc.) were doing, but this is the manufacturer. Us loyal day one and out buyers don't get anything? Thats pretty messed up. Don't get me wrong, I love the phone and all, I just feel slighted that we didn't get anything out of our purchases.

Yeah, I kinda feel the same as well. At least give us first day/month adopters a chance at getting it at a reduced or discounted price! Try looking for an official battery and dock on their website for the G3.

it does suck, but then again I purchased on launch day from best buy and got a $100 gift card, so it kind of evens out.
I just added a new line for my son on ATT earlier in the summer, now they are offering $100 credit for each new line. There's always going to be better deals.

That's rather like when you go into a store and buy something for 500. The next day you see it's 350 because they've started a special offer....you can't help feeling you've lost 150.

Sometimes you hardly dare buy an earlier model when a new model has come out, for fear that there will be a large discount the day AFTER you buy.

I know right. Oh well. My 14 days are already up. I switched from the m8 to g3 already. LG should provide everyone we purchased this phone that bundle but unfortunately not.

It's the price we pay. A few weeks ago Bell dropped it to $99, from $149.

Having said that can't we at leat get something I would be very happy with a $25 Google Play Store credit. The G3 launched up here August 1 so it hurts a little more.

I'd be pissed too if I just got the phone. But they are just giving a "discount" in kind without lowering the price to meet some internal number goals. Worth it to complain to your carrier or seller.

I am not upset that they started this incentive now. Maybe inventory of batteries are just now sufficient to offer this. Maybe they only thought of this now to compete with the iPhone 6. I love my G3 and have no complaints

Anybody who has ever followed the smart phone market knows that incentives are offered as the phone ages. I don't feel slighted in the least. I got a major top of the line phone for $99 by buying it on day one.

Not sure about the other carriers, but Sprint had either a $150 or $100 AMEX gift card deal (depending on when it was purchased) on the G3 and they are about to be sent out.
Not exactly the same but now I can get the brakes for my car when the gift card arrives.

Typical for most services these days, Verizon, Comcast, Direct TV, Gym Memberships, Alarm Services, etc.
Why offer something to those that already bought in? Now they want all the people that didn't "buy in" to the standard goods and services pricing.
We see it all the time on the commercials; "Special introductory pricing only available for new customers".
Yeah, it bugs the **** out of me too!

I got this day the it came out. Wish they would've always just included a spare battery and charger. Hell, the Korean models always get a spare battery and cradle. Why not us?

I couldn't care less. Not only would I never use it, but this is just the way the business world works. Ever been to the grocery store? Sale items are always changing. Sometimes you benefit from it, sometimes you don't. Nothing to get all worked up about.

Me too. I have no complaints, but others who did not do Best Buy's 50$ off deal new phone upgrade 2 year contract deal... I feel you. <pours liquor>
