Hey, All,

I found that with my new note 9, the screen is larger so the ads and pop-ups on websites for even more annoying. I decided to change from chrome to solve this issue. Ironically, the ads on Android Central were ridiculous.

So, I tried BRAVE browser, and I was blown away at how it instantly melts away all ads - even the most sneaky, baked-in ads...

For example, you know those click bait articles That make you hot "next" like 15 times just to get through the complete article? Well, BRAVE will automatically curate that and convert it into one, seamless scrolling page with no ads.

Here's the stupid article that you can use to test it:

Girl loses 140 pounds after being turned down by college crush, then gets even with him perfectly | KiwiReport

Where has this browser been all my life?

I just use Samsung browser. From what I hear it's one of the fastest and in the browser settings you can enable adgaurd as an extension. It works very well

Yeah...

Ad right in the middle of Brave. I'll stick with Samsung.

I noticed that the Samsung browser has several different browser extensions to click ads. Which one is your favorite?

Same here .. stoch Samsung is coolest and fastest ..
never see any ads .. either ..
Why use another app .. waste yr phone's resource .. IMO..

Samsung internet is by far the best mobile browser. Ad blocking is outstanding with it. Night mode is great also.

Wow, really tried Samsung browser more as a result of this thread. It has excellent features and tie-ins with Chrome which is what I use to keep my phone and PC in-sync with each other and share bookmarks and such. The adblocking is just frosting on the cake for me.

Thanks...

Yeah, I've been slowly transitioning to the Samsung Browser. Everything is in Chrome so it's been hard for me to fully commit to it. It's definitely a good browser because of the add blocking. Not sure why Chrome for mobile doesn't have plug-ins for Ad Blocking like the desktop version.

Does the Samsung browser save random pics from sites i visit somewhere within storage of phone?

I think i always used Chrome because this happened in other browsers, then i had storage taken up by those temporary pics and files.

The main browser I use is Firefox for Android. It's got all the ad blockers etc that I use on Firefox for pc.

Nothing wrong with the Samsung browser either.

I might add, the brave browser has been around for a while, and usually gets good reports from those who have an interest in security matters.

Where do you get all the add-ons from?

I use Firefox, since has plug in for amoled background for sites and an Ad blocker. Samsung's night mode is not the same as having a black background. Samsung night mode should be called dim mode.
